As we approach winter there is nothing more fab then a hot seriously relaxing bath with all the goodies.
Bath salts replicate the healing minerals found in natural springs.
Making your own bath salts, is really the easiest thing out, no need to ever buy bath salts again.
FOR THE KIDS
I put bath salts in my kiddies bath every evening - about a teaspoon or so. Salt is a natural healer for all those cuts and scratches kids seem to get from all that play time. In hers - I also add chamomile, and lavender for a good nights sleep and healing!
SENSUOUS RELAXING BATH SALTS
You can add whatever essential oils you like.
Some recipes include baking soda in the bath salts as a gentle cleaner for your body. I find that this tends to make the bath salts clumpy.
WHY THE INGREDIENTS USED:
Has loads of healing and relaxing benefits, and is probably one of the most versatile essential oils, as well as smelling gorgeous.
2/3 cup (165ml) Coarse Sea salt
1/3 cup (80ml) Coarse Himalayan Salt
15 drops Lavender Essential Oil
10 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
5 drops Rose Essential Oil
- Put the salts in a bowl, mix together.
- Add the oils and give another mix.
- 'Nature's choice' (found in major supermarkets and pharmacies) has a nice pure rage of salts.
Here you will find a collection of books (most of which are on my bookshelf) where I get a lot of information for my posts. You will also find the items required to make a lot of the products found on my blog.
I receive a small commission for items purchased through my store - Thanks for the support.
